Safari Zoo Camp regularly asks participants for input. This information is invaluable, helping us in our constant effort to improve our program and services. Though we apprciate it, we can't take credit for all the compliments and praise we've received over the years. UNIVERSEZoo Camp is my once-a-year satisfaction, and easily my favourite place in the universe. The moment I arrive home from Zoo Camp, I start counting the days until go back! There's absolutely no way I could chose a specific memory as my favourite, because I've had enough wonderful moments and experiences at that camp to last me a lifetime. I've learned so much about not only the brilliant and beautiful animals at Jungle Cat World, but about what kind of person I want to be, and how it's never too soon to begin. For all of this I give countless thanks to the always magnificent staff!

RESPECT

Safari Zoo Camp has definitely made a big impact on my life. I've since enrolled myself in Sir Sandford Fleming College for Environmental Sciences in the Fish and Wildlife Technician Program. I'm graduating this year and I'm super exited. I've had numerous jobs with the Ministry of Natural Resources and volunteered in many of their research activities. Zoo Camp is a lot of fun and you learn to respect your environment in a whole different way. Thanks for the opportunity.
-Jessica cool Safari Zoo Camp is the best camp in the world. I can say this because I have been to a few different ones, and will always come back to Safari Zoo Camp from now on. If you love animals of any shape or size this is the camp to go to. You don't just look at the critters, you actually get to handle and play with them. There are so many cool things that make this camp fun, but this was my best experience. We got to interact with the young tigers! There was only a fence between us and these beautiful creatures but they let us pat them. They seemed to like me, because I got my hand licked by both of them. It was the neatest feeling to have such a large tongue come out through teeth that could rip anyone apart and lick my hand. I will never forget that as long as I live.

When I got home I shared what I learned at camp. He thought it was really great that you taught all those good things about helping the environment. When I got home my whole front yard was torn up because we are building a new house. I asked him if it was okay if I planted trees, grass and flowers. He said sure as long as I paid for it. So I did. Now my front yard has growing grass and trees and beautiful flowers. Now my next job it to plant a garden, which I'm working on now. Thanks for the wonderful camp experience that you and the other counsellors gave me.
-Laura Inspiring Honestly...there is really nothing like it...it's inspiring...it makes you want to do something amazing and made me feel like I could make a difference in this world. It has changed how I look at everything ever since. Everyone is so passionate and into what they are doing.

I have to say that it has actually changed my life. I love the camp, the people there, and the atmosphere. It's opened my eyes to the world around us... I'm more conscious about what I buy, and do... I want to make a beneficial difference in the world, I want to help people change, I want to spread the knowledge I have gained concerning our planet... Zoo camp is like nothing else, it's something really special, and has something unique that other camps don't have. You're part of a family at camp, and that is really something amazing.

once-in-a-lifetime

Zoo Camp has been a big influence on the person that I am today. Camp has given me once-in-a-lifetime experiences that have made me realize that anything is possible. I've become more aware of environmental issues and been inspired to try and make a difference. Some of the best days of my life were spent at Zoo Camp: cleaning up garbage at Lake Ontario (and swimming), wildlife presentations, hang gliding, building and sleeping in shelters in the forest, the hands on experience with diverse animals, and all the amazing friends I've made over the years! Zoo camp is always the highlight of my summer.
-Victoria POWER Jungle Cat World Zoo Camp changed my life. The staff taught me how to make a difference in the world, and through their positive attitudes and encouragement, they made me believe that I actually have the power to make a difference. Plus, all of the hands on learning with the zoo animals is just plain awesome! By far, the best camp I've ever been to.
-Lisa home I really miss camp! I keep telling my friends about how much fun I had at camp. I really want to come back! I want to stay this time for the whole summer, I really feel like it's my second home. And I enjoy, so much, spending time with you guys and the animals.
-Radha wildlife I just wanted to say thank you for one of the best experiences. When I grow up I want to be a wildlife conservationist. I had a great time.

I just wanted to thank you for making my first time at camp a fantastic one! The rappelling was awesome. It was so nice of you to let me come along on the show to hold the caiman! I learned so much about all the animals too. You definitely made me feel welcome and I can't wait to come back!

Zoo camp has changed my life for the better, definitely. Not only do you get to learn so much about the incredible animals that are out there, but you also meet incredible people- friends that will last a lifetime.
