Photos from each summer season are posted online for campers, family and friends to enjoy. There are thousands of pictures of all the fun things we do at camp, from caving and rappelling to working with lions and lemurs!

Safari Zoo Camp regularly asks participants for input. This information is invaluable, helping us in our constant effort to improve our program and services. Though we apprciate it, we can't take credit for all the compliments and praise we've received over the years. Our success has been made possible by the campers, parents, staff and participating community members whom have made Safari Zoo Camp part of their lives. Thank-you.

Wow It's funny, when she [Megan] went there for the first time two summers ago, she didn't even like to look at a snake, let alone touch one. Look at her now. Holding huge snakes, she can't even hold up by herself because they are so heavy. Wow! I think she's become more at ease with a lot of different animals, but also gained a new respect for them as well. The variety of people from all over the country and the world that she has met is amazing. She was talking on MSN to one of the girls from Spain on Christmas Eve this year. This is quite an experience for a young person.
-Denise Enriched Your zoo camp is an awesome program... the experience that your camp provides has enriched his summers. He is the kind of kid that has to work really hard to get just "okay" grades and the everyday routines of life frustrate him, but when he goes to your camp everything is good with his world. Next year will be the first time he will be going for more than one week. I asked my husband "Can we really afford that?" and his response was "How do you say NO when it is the one place Tyler really fits in". Again, thank you for your awesome program! I hope that you know how much your program means to our family. We recommend your camp to anyone with kids in the age requirements!

My daughter, Fanny, spent last week at your safari camp with her class and teachers. She very much enjoyed the camp. I understand from her account that they all had a fantastic time and learned a lot about nature and the animals. I want to give you my (and her) appreciation for the excellent work you do with the kids. I understand that all the "monitors" (those looking after the activities) were very good with the kids. Congratulations.
-Louise Zoologist Just wanted to let you know how much Danielle and Kari enjoyed their week at Jungle Cat World. Both have not stopped talking about there adventure. Kari who tends to be withdrawn and shy has come back with much more enthusiasm in her persona. She has mentioned that she wants to become a zoologist. We have never really heard Kari express such an interest in anything. This was a very positive experience for her, thank you all very much. Thanks for everything.

Miranda is a special human being. Although parents have some contributions to make, much of what we do is support her and get out of her way (at least we try!). She is quirky, strong, incredibly bright, principled, engaged with the world and engaging as a human being. You folks at Zoo Camp have given her tons of opportunity to be all those things and more, right up to the hilt. She's loved it, and we're delighted that she has found such a challenging and congenial home away from home. Thanks for everything you do.
-Nina AWESOMEMy daughter Danielle Boers was in your camp and I wanted to commend the program you put on for the kids. This was the first time she was away from home for any extended period of time and I know that we missed her more than she missed us, which says a lot as she is a huge homebody. Danielle has not stopped talking about her experiences and the friends she made. Thank you very much for making this such an awesome experience for her.

I wish to thank you all very much for your help in making Kristina's dream a reality. She is still talking non-stop about her week there. She had a tremendous time and learned so much. She has started a paper route and is saving up to come back to camp next year. She came home with more confidence and self esteem than I have seen in her since she was about 7 years old. She will remember her week there for the rest of her life. And it has spurred her on to reach her goal of being a biologist or zoologist. She won't even let me kill a spider without discussing the ecosystem. LOL. Thanks to everyone there.

ZOOKEEPER
My son Adam attended your camp this week. I would like to THANK YOU very much for the wonderful time he had. His Dad and I could not believe how much he had learned in one week. The first thing he told us before taking us on a tour of Jungle Cat World was that he is going to become a zookeeper. The smile still has not come off his face. He is already talking about wanting to return next year.

-Sherry LOVED IT He [Nick] had a great time, and he wants to return next year. You really do a wonderful job at Safari Zoo Camp. Both our kids loved it, and there are very few things that they both like!

Natalia had a great time... many new friends and a lot of new experiences.
